COVID 19 & Our home town
March 12th was the day that EVERYTHING changed for us here in Canada and for most of North America. This is a time that we will never forget and a time that we NEVER thought we would experience in our life time. Emotionally. physically, and mentally draining….How did this happen? How are we coping? How will our country and our town move forward from this?
PART 1 of 3
WHAT THE HECK DO I DO NOW? I was going to put my house on the market and now the world is going through a pandemic! AHHH
Breathe…
Check out this discussion I had with one of our local relators here in Dawson Creek. My realtor Kevin Kurjata is always interesting to talk to, he hits you with everything thats happening AND more!
Are you a buyer? Seller? or just want to know what is going on with our economy right now? This interview is for you!
All the best!

PART 2 of 3 Interviews I did with professionals in our community
First of all I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to our Mayor of Dawson Creek.
Thank you for sitting down with me and answering the hard questions about our city and what the plan is during this very unprecedented time. There is some great information in this interview and some things you may not of even thought about that our city and our council is dealing with right now for us.
We are talking business, events, toilet paper and all the good stuff!
Thank you, for taking the time Dale!
All the best,
Alison Morgan
Part 3 of 3
I have had the pleasure of doing business with Darcy Dober Owner of Browns Socialhouse for many many years now. AM Interior Design has helped with some interior finishings in Browns like drapery, patio throw cushions and upholstery on the chairs and booths.
Darcy has successfully opened 3 Browns locations ( Grande Prairie, Ab, Fort St. John and Dawson Creek) He made the difficult decision to completely shut down all 3 restaurants due to COVID 19 and he sat down with me to tell his story.
What was my take away from this interview with Darcy? Owning a business is more than just owning a business, it becomes more about your stake in the community and how you support them and they support you. and THATS what I love about this community and about being a business owner myself.
Thank you Darcy,
All the best
